Internet Exploder, Part 2….

So this morning I set out to figure out what was going on with viewing this updated website in any Internet Explorer browser. I create a test case, removed a script and some comments and checked it out in IE 7. Well fancy that, it looks like it should. Hmmm okay. So I go back in and start backing out my deletions, the first one being the comments. What?! It’s messed up again!

Long story short, IE does not like where I put my comments initially. I literally moved the comments down one line and now IE 6, IE 7 and IE 8 are happy. The earlier versions of IE (4.01, 5.01 and 5.5) are still off-kilter, but those bugs are well-known bugs with IE and I can fix those at a later date.

Now I can safely say that the site can be viewed in all browsers across Unix, Windows and Macs except earlier versions of IE!
