My flight left Boston around noon and I arrived on time in Atlanta around 4pm.  I got off the plane and headed towards baggage claim to pick up my bag.  Now normally I’m used to San Diego airport where the baggage claim is actually very close to the gates, so I start off walking.  And I continue to walk…..and walk…..and walk……  I saw a train that obviously went to baggage claim, but really, how far away can the baggage claim be?  Turns out the baggage claim was actually 1/2 mile from the gate! So I need to make another note to myself….don’t even take a red-eye and arrive in town the morning of a conference.  :-/  I lasted until 10:30am and then I had to go upstairs and take a nap.  I could not keep my eyes open any longer!

I attended the morning Ajaxian Framework Summit on Dojo and I’m really interested in learning more about it now.  I’ve never used frameworks before and I’d like to play around with them and see what they have to offer. Continue reading →

In LAX now and I have a blister on the back of my right foot from walking through the airport in new shoes.  Note to oneself, never ever walk long distances in new shoes without breaking them in first!
